Make the cabinet schedule visible
Confirm which base, wall, tall, island, filler, end-panel, door, drawer-front, handle, hinge, internal-accessory, trim, and finishing elements are included. Linear length is a planning quantity; complex layouts, corners, islands, and multiple runs can change labour and fitting.
Stock, semi-custom, custom—and UK closest equivalents
The US model uses stock, semi-custom, and custom. The UK model instead uses budget/flat-pack, mid-range, and premium/bespoke units. These are closest planning comparisons, not identical construction claims. More specification flexibility can affect design, ordering, fitting, finish, and project coordination; it does not automatically make one product better.
Separate surrounding work
Countertops/worktops are not included and should be separately measured, fabricated, and coordinated. Plumbing, electrical, gas appliances, ventilation, flooring, wall repair, painting, and layout changes can also require defined specialist work. The calculator’s service option represents only minor adjustments.
