This page states the publishing standards HomeCostNest commits to applying to calculators, educational guides, and transparency pages. It is a forward-looking editorial policy and should not be read as a claim that every older page has undergone independent professional review or a fixed update schedule.

Purpose of our content

HomeCostNest helps readers define early project scope, compare supported choices, and understand a planning range before seeking project-specific quotes. Content is educational and informational. It is not construction, engineering, architectural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, financial, tax, or legal advice.

Calculator modelling

Calculator profiles combine stored benchmark ranges with the visible inputs and supported adjustments shown on each page. US and UK profiles may use different data, units, terminology, options, and assumptions. HomeCostNest identifies planning-only inputs rather than assigning unsupported cost effects. The full model boundaries are explained on the Methodology page.

Sources, assumptions, and limitations

• Named external references are displayed as source context where present in the calculator data.
• A source is linked only when a URL is actually stored; missing URLs are not guessed.
• Internal modelling assumptions and estimated allowances are distinguished from external references.
• Listing a source does not imply that the source endorses HomeCostNest or verified every output.
• Material limitations, exclusions, and professional-assessment boundaries should remain visible.

Guide content

Guides should answer a defined planning question, attribute external references where available, distinguish factual context from calculator modelling, and connect readers to relevant tools without presenting an estimate as a quote. HomeCostNest does not claim that every article is independently reviewed or updated on a recurring timetable unless a page specifically documents that process.

Corrections

Correction requests should identify the URL, the exact statement or calculator result in question, why it may be inaccurate, and any supporting evidence. Send requests to memoravirtual@gmail.com or WhatsApp HomeCostNest.

HomeCostNest commits to assessing specific, supportable correction requests. When a significant correction is accepted, the affected content should be updated and, where practical, its updated date or a correction note should make the material change visible. This is a publication standard, not a claim that a complete historical correction log already exists.

Advertising and editorial separation

Advertising technology or a future advertisement does not determine calculator results, source selection, or editorial conclusions. Paid placement should not be disguised as independent editorial guidance. If sponsored content or an affiliate relationship is introduced, it should be clearly disclosed. HomeCostNest does not currently claim that such commercial content exists.

General feedback and technical reports can also be submitted through the Contact page. HomeCostNest does not publish invented authors, credentials, review panels, or organizational registrations to fill gaps in verified publisher information.
